Hey it's Rena. Several of you have noted the difficulty of commenting. I think I have found the easiest way. Set up a Google account at Google.com (you don't have to fill out all that profile info; what they really need is just an e-mail address that lets them track you in case you start making terrorist threats). Once you have a Google account go back to this page and hit sign-in (right-hand corner). Once you've signed in, it'll take you to your own account page, just use the back arrow key to get back to Matthew's page, where you will see you are signed in at the top and free to comment. If anyone knows an easier way -- please feel free to comment.
And, my very thoughtful father-in-law also points out below that you won't get through if you are using Internet Explorer as your browser and to use Firefox instead.
I had trouble commenting even after I signed up with Google. I asked Phil what was going on since he was clearly able to comment and he advised that when he used Internet Explorer as the browser as I did, he had the same trouble that I reported. His suggestion was to use Foxfire as the browser, which I am doing now. If you are reading this message you now know another possible problem in commenting. Nice to have a Phil around. ReplyDeleteOr Firefox if I had read my new found browser correctly. Nevertheless, nothing I tried with Internet Explorer allowed me to comment. You should have seen how cross I got before Phil bailed me out. Hope I can help someone else keep their blood pressure in check. Grandpa in PA
ReplyDeleteSorry, I guess it is called Firefox. However, the point is that nothing I tried worked when I used Internet Explorer. I hope this will help others to avoid getting high blood pressure as I did until Phil bailed me out. There is a message here about one's children outpacing their parents. Keep this Matthew for a future time when you will need it.
